Rhapsodize is a cultural initiative dedicated to producing, encouraging, and guiding the production of rhapsodies of classic (and, eventually, contemporary) poems. Founded in March 2012 by Bob Gonzalez and Denis Daly, Rhapsodize has produced over fifty audio rhapsodies, including ones centered on classic and modern poets like Omar Khayyam, William Blake, Christina Rossetti, Emily Dickinson, Anne Bradstreet, Robert Louis Stevenson, Robert Frost, William Shakespeare, Wilfred Owen, T.S. Eliot, and others as well as on themes such as travels, sleep, and memory.
This blog will podcast highlighted performances of rhapsodies from the Rhapsodize Audio catalog over the coming months.
